1. Data controller

The controller of the data processed on this website is Javier Martínez. For any question about your data you can write to hola@javierm.es.

2. What data I process and why

  • Contact form: your name, your email and your message. I use them to reply to you and, if you propose a project, to prepare and manage the proposal. Legal basis: your consent when you send the form (art. 6.1.a GDPR) and, when you ask for a quote, steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
  • Server logs: the IP address, date, requested page and browser type of each visit. They are needed for the website to work and stay secure. Legal basis: the legitimate interest in keeping the service secure (art. 6.1.f GDPR).

I do not use your data for advertising, I do not sell it and I do not build profiles.

3. How long

  • Contact form messages: as long as needed to reply and at most 12 months after the last contact. If they lead to a project, whatever must be kept for legal (tax or accounting) obligations is kept for the periods set by law.
  • Server logs: only as long as needed for the security of the website.

4. Who else processes the data

These providers are involved in running the website. They process data on my behalf and only to provide their service:

  • Hostinger International Ltd.: the server hosting this website and the automation system (n8n) that receives the contact form messages. The server is in France, within the European Union.
  • DonDominio: the email provider for hola@javierm.es, which I use to reply.

Everything the website loads (fonts, images and code) is served from this same server: your browser does not connect to third-party services when you visit it.

I do not share your data with anyone else, unless required by law.

5. Your rights

You can ask to access, rectify or erase your data, object to or restrict its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to hola@javierm.es. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

6. Cookies

This website uses no cookies and no analytics. The only thing it stores in your browser (in its local storage) is whether you prefer the light or dark theme, and only when you choose one. That never leaves your browser.
